Product information
Applications, features and available variants
Technical information
Product: three-hole plastic seal capsule. Material: PP copolymer. Process: plastic injection moulding. Application: sealing wire is routed through the holes in the arrangement defined for the closing system.
Colours, custom dimensions and hole geometry are assessed against the project and production quantity. Confirm exact dimensions and tolerances on the technical drawing. Compatibility with every sealing wire is not assumed.
Technical documents and project confidentiality
Request external dimensions, hole diameters and positions, critical tolerances, and material or colour information for selection. Contact the technical team for a drawing approved for sharing and sample information. Customer-specific drawings, product codes and design details are not included in public product content.
Selection and production
Plan the product for your project
The three-hole plastic seal capsule guides sealing wire through a defined arrangement to help close sacks, bags and packaging in a controlled way. The standard product is injection-moulded from PP copolymer. Its compact, lightweight form supports handling during manual sealing operations.
Alongside supply of the current product, İdeal Plastik can evaluate new capsules and injection moulds using the sealing wire, packaging type, dimensions or an existing sample. Suitability depends on the complete closing system, not only on the capsule's external appearance.
Product and development options
Different external dimensions, hole diameters, wire-routing arrangements and colours can be assessed against project requirements. Custom packaging, sample-based development and a dedicated injection mould may also be included. The final approach depends on wire type and diameter, packaging construction, the closing method and order volume.
Features and application areas
The three-hole geometry supports controlled wire passage. Injection moulding supports repeatable production of the approved geometry. The capsule can be evaluated for agricultural sacks, industrial bags, raw-material packaging, storage and shipment operations, and other packaging closed with wire.
Opening-control and security requirements must be assessed for the capsule, wire and closing method together. Do not assume universal wire compatibility or guaranteed tamper evidence from the capsule alone. A packaging application involving food does not itself establish approval for direct food contact; any such requirement needs separate review with the relevant material documentation.
Choosing the right capsule
For a quotation, specify the sack or bag construction, wire type and diameter, capsule dimensions, hole arrangement and closing method. Include colour, packaging, storage and exposure conditions, and annual consumption. An automated application requires an additional equipment-compatibility review.
Confirm exact dimensions, hole diameters and tolerances on a technical drawing. Without a drawing, a physical sample and application information can support measurement and manufacturability review. Check wire passage and the complete closing operation on samples before ordering. Where reuse or outdoor exposure matters, specify those conditions rather than assuming the standard capsule is suitable.
From project to series production
For the current product, the supply plan is based on colour, packaging and quantity. If its geometry does not fit the application, the drawing or sample is reviewed and a new capsule can be developed around the wire and routing arrangement. Design approval is followed by mould manufacture, trial moulding and sample checks. Series production is planned after the required application checks are accepted.
A Turkish-manufactured alternative to an imported capsule can be assessed from its sample, material requirements and operating conditions. Where the customer has a suitable injection mould, machine and process compatibility are reviewed before trial or series moulding with PP copolymer or another approved project material. Development work must respect third-party intellectual property rights.

Questions and answers
Frequently Asked Questions
What does a plastic seal capsule do?
It helps guide sealing wire through a defined arrangement for controlled closure of a sack, bag or package. Opening-control performance is assessed with the wire and closing method.
What material is used?
The standard three-hole capsule is injection-moulded from PP copolymer.
Why does the capsule have three holes?
The holes help route and position the wire in the intended arrangement. The application method is determined together with the wire and closing system.
Can it be used with every sealing wire?
Compatibility depends on wire type and diameter. Compare the wire with the capsule's hole geometry and verify the closing operation on a sample before ordering.
Can colours or dimensions be customised?
Requested colours, dimensions, the closing method and quantity can be reviewed to define suitable options or develop a dedicated capsule and injection mould.
Can development start from a sample?
A sample and application information can support measurement and manufacturability review. A Turkish-manufactured alternative to an imported product can be assessed through the same process, subject to technical suitability and intellectual property considerations.
Can you mould capsules using our existing mould?
Trial and series moulding can be planned after checking the mould's compatibility with the machinery, selected material and production conditions.
