HVAC and Ventilation Plastic Components

İdeal Plastik provides mould manufacture, contract injection moulding and series production for plastic parts used in HVAC and ventilation systems. Project-specific components can be developed from technical drawings, 3D data or existing samples. Imported plastic parts can also be assessed for production alternatives in Türkiye following a technical review.

Plastic component solutions for HVAC systems

Parts that can be evaluated include air-duct connections and flow-guiding components, filter cassettes and retainers, fan housings, protective grilles, mounting brackets, clips and connecting parts. Control-panel components, knobs, plastic covers, air inlet or outlet covers, cable-entry parts and cable holders can also form part of a project.

These groups describe manufacturing capabilities that can be assessed from project data; they are not a list of standard products held in stock. Gasket and grommet requirements are reviewed separately according to material and function. A component's name or appearance does not establish its compatibility with the system.

Selecting the component and material

Assess the component's role, the dimensions of the mating duct, filter, fan or enclosure, and the assembly method together. Working temperature, humidity, mechanical loads, UV and chemical exposure influence material selection. Define any removal requirement for maintenance, critical tolerances, colour and surface expectations during design.

ABS, PP, PA6, PA66, PC, PC-ABS, POM, PBT, TPE and TPV can be considered against the project's technical requirements. A material name alone does not establish final performance: review the commercial grade and the resin supplier's data. Temperature, flame-retardancy or outdoor-performance claims must not be generalised to every component without verification.

From mould development to series parts

The drawing, 3D model or sample is reviewed for material selection and manufacturability. After the mould approach is defined, design and tooling are completed. Trial parts undergo dimensional, assembly and functional checks. Series production is planned following sample acceptance and customer approval.

Contract moulding with an existing tool

For a customer-owned plastic injection mould, review its technical characteristics, machine compatibility, the part and material requirements. Suitable projects can proceed to trial moulding, process checks and series production. Having an existing mould does not mean production can begin on any machine without assessment.

Production alternatives for imported HVAC parts

Imported plastic components can be reviewed against their dimensions, material, operating conditions and annual demand. Technical data or samples can support a mould and series-production solution in Türkiye. Suitability is confirmed after sample manufacture and the required dimensional, assembly and functional checks. Custom development must respect intellectual property rights.
