Technical information and documents
Dimensions, material requirements and operating conditions differ by project. Exact technical values are provided once the component and requirements are defined. Luminaire or profile drawings, cover cross-sections, connection dimensions, 3D data, material or surface expectations and the technical specification support the review.
Describe the component's function and application when requesting documents. Customer-specific drawings, codes and design details are not included in public content because of confidentiality and intellectual property obligations.
Pressure equalisation in closed luminaires
Where pressure equalisation is required, the Ventideal vent plug can be evaluated as a separate component. Selection must use the product's technical file together with the luminaire's mounting, temperature and protection requirements.
Selection and production
Plan the product for your project
İdeal Plastik offers product and manufacturing solutions for plastic LED lighting covers, LED glass covers and custom plastic lighting components. Luminaire or profile geometry, mounting method, operating environment, target optical appearance and quantity are assessed together to define the project.
Design, injection moulds, samples and series manufacture can be evaluated for plastic parts. Glass-cover dimensions, surface finish, mounting, packaging and supply requirements are planned separately according to the product. Glass covers must not be described as parts made by plastic injection moulding.
Product groups
Plastic LED lighting covers
Plastic covers help protect the light source and achieve the intended optical appearance. Cross-section, surface, colour, fixing geometry and light-transmission requirements are defined for the project. Clear, translucent or opal finishes can be assessed through material selection, surface design and sample evaluation.
LED glass covers
Glass covers can be evaluated for indoor, outdoor, industrial, architectural and decorative lighting projects. Dimensions, texture, edge geometry and seating in the luminaire follow the project requirements. Samples should be checked for optical appearance, assembly fit, packaging and transport conditions.
Plastic lighting-system components
Housings, frames, connecting parts, retainers and mounting components can be produced by plastic injection moulding. Where standard parts do not meet the requirements, new components can be developed for the luminaire body, profile, electronics and mounting method.
The LED PCB Push Fix Mounting Clip remains a separate product for circuit-board retention. Its compatibility with the PCB hole, panel thickness and mating geometry must be reviewed against its own technical data.
Features and application areas
Project-specific dimensions, cross-sections, shapes, surfaces, colours and materials can be assessed with the luminaire and profile geometry. Plastic and glass covers offer different approaches to source protection and appearance. Sample and assembly checks help establish whether the components work together in the same system.
Potential applications include indoor LED luminaires, outdoor lighting, industrial facilities, architectural or decorative projects, aluminium-profile installations and special mounting arrangements. Light transmission, UV exposure, impact, temperature, flame-retardancy and outdoor suitability must be verified for the material, component geometry and relevant documentation.
Choosing the right component
Start with the luminaire or profile drawing, cover seat, fixing geometry, part length, cross-section and tolerances. Specify the target optical appearance, clear or opal finish, indoor or outdoor conditions, temperature, UV, impact and chemical exposure. Include installation, removal, packaging and shipment requirements.
Before series production, use sample assembly to check seating in the luminaire or profile, installation repeatability and optical appearance. Exact optical performance is not established by a material name or the word 'transparent'; it must be checked using the selected material and sample product.
From project to series production
Injection moulding with an existing tool
A customer-owned plastic injection mould is reviewed against the machinery, material, component geometry and production quantity. Suitable projects can proceed to trial moulding, process verification and series plastic-part production. This service applies to plastic injection-moulded components, not glass-cover manufacture.
Production alternatives for imported parts
Imported plastic LED covers, housings, frames and mounting components can be assessed using samples, drawings, operating conditions and annual demand. Material, mould investment, unit cost and supply continuity are reviewed together. Development must respect third-party patents, designs and other intellectual property rights.
Custom component and mould development
After reviewing a drawing, sample or dimensioned sketch, the plastic part's geometry, material, mould and manufacturing method are evaluated. Design approval is followed by tool manufacture and samples. Series production follows the defined acceptance checks. Glass projects retain a separate plan for dimensions, surface, mounting and supply.

Questions and answers
Frequently Asked Questions
What does the LED lighting range cover?
It includes plastic LED covers, LED glass covers and custom plastic housings, connecting parts and mounting components. The LED PCB Push Fix clip has its own product page.
What do plastic LED covers do?
They help protect the light source and achieve the intended optical appearance. The result depends on cover geometry, surface and material.
Can light transmission or optical appearance be specified?
Clear, translucent or opal requirements can be assessed for the project. Exact performance must be verified using the selected material and sample component.
Can the products be used outdoors?
Outdoor projects can be assessed with suitable material and design. UV, temperature, humidity, impact and other environmental requirements need project-specific verification.
Can custom dimensions and designs be developed?
A drawing, sample or dimensioned sketch can support a dedicated plastic part and injection mould. Glass-cover dimensions, finish and supply requirements are evaluated separately.
Can you use our existing mould?
Samples and series plastic-part production can be assessed after checking the injection mould against the machinery, material, geometry and quantity. Glass products are not included in this injection-moulding service.
Can a Turkish-manufactured alternative to an imported part be developed?
The sample, technical requirements and operating conditions can be reviewed for plastic-part manufacturability and mould investment, with respect for intellectual property rights.
Can you produce samples?
Samples can be planned after the technical scope, tooling and production approach are defined. Series production follows sample approval and the required checks.
